Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires...courage.

17 weeks and counting...

I just wanted to let everyone know the pregnancy is going well. I am out of the exhausted and nauseaous phase, and into a more energetic (well, a bit) phase. :) I have felt a few flutters from the baby's movements, and I'm sure that will increase soon to real kicks. I decided to add a picture so you can all see what I look like now. And I'll post some more along the way.

Thanks for the encouraging comments, ladies. My doctor is encouraging me not to gain too much weight...due to complications with my last birth (9.5 lbs.) but I'm finding it difficult, even when I'm counting calories. Any suggestions for yummy and quick, but healthy food choices?

You look great!

Good luck with the weight gain. I always thought with each pregnacy that I wouldn't gain as much as I did with the previous pregnancy. But it never worked out for me, except with Anna and that was only because she was smaller than the boys. But you can and will do better than me!!! I'll pray for you.
